As a team dedicated to increasing epilepsy awareness and combating the stigma, the NYPH- Cornell Epilepsy Stompers will participate in the Fourth Annual National Walk for Epilepsy on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 in Washington, D.C. This is a family-oriented event dedicated to the cause of fighting epilepsy by bringing together more than 5,000 walkers from around the country to raise money for research, treatment, and educational programs that aid the 3 million people with epilepsy as well as their friends and families.
